Long before the declaration of war, the world wanted the Fuhrer dead. In Germany, fellow politicians lodge their dissent after the horrific Night of the Long Knives. As the threat of war rises, a panic grows among German aristocrats and members of the Gestapo and Wehrmacht. Among them, a plan starts to take shape. Among German workers too, some are ready to take violent action. A bomb detonates in a Beer Hall, but Hitler escapes once again with his life. When a bomb in a Cointreau box gets loaded onto the Fuhrer's plane, Hitler has an unwitting near-miss. But, when Operation Barbarossa commences, Germany can no longer afford to miss their mark. As top Nazi brass decide to rid the world of the Nazi threat through Operation Valkyrie, we return to the Wolf's Den for a fateful meeting. How did conspirators get a bomb through three levels of security? Though the attempt misses its target, how does the explosive set the scene for destruction of the Nazi regime?
